Change the Table Color in Google Docs Mobile
Google Docs mobile app doesn’t yet support changing table background colors. Currently, you can only do this through your mobile chrome browser. Follow the steps below to change table colors in Google Docs.
1. Copy the Document Link
Tap the “three dots” in the lower-right corner of the Google Doc file. Choose “Copy link” to copy the document’s URL.

2. Paste the Link to the Google Chrome
In the Chrome address bar, “paste” the copied link from your Google Docs app and press “Enter.” Your Google Docs file will now open in the Google Chrome browser.

3. Select the Cell You Want to Change
Zoom in as needed to accurately select the cells you want to change. The cursor will indicate the specific cell where you’ll apply the color change.

4. Access Table Properties
Tap the “three vertical dots” on the toolbar. From the options, select the “fill color” icon to open the color palette, where you can choose a color.

5. Select a Color
Tap your desired color from the palette; a checkmark will appear on the selected color, indicating it has been applied to the chosen cell. Repeat this process to change the color of any other cells in the table as needed.
